My Book Description
Young adults are easily influenced today. They have hard questions about death, sickness, and eternity. So we need to be very
careful when sharing God’s Word. I believe that scripture (God’s inspired Word) is the best way to explain their questions.
Jesus, I Don’t Understand takes Rachel McDonald on a spiritual journey as Christ Jesus addresses three questions that she has
uncertainty about.
God has asked us to “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways
acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5–6 KJV). We need to simply trust that He knows best and has
our best interest at heart. God gives us the Lord’s Prayer, the way to pray when we feel we need to speak with Him (Matthew
6:9–13 KJV).

Jesus, I Don’t Understand

Many times, children can become confused by a scripture in a Bible that they don’t understand. Jesus, I Don’t Understand
offers answers by Christ Jesus to three questions posed by a young woman, Rachel McDonald. Rachel knows that God loves
her, but she still is unclear why bad things have happened to her, to her sister, and to her best friend. Jesus, I Don’t
Understand shares God’s love and compassion for Rachel and everyone through the inspired Word of His Son, Christ Jesus.
Jesus, I Don’t Understand is an easy-to-understand scriptural based book for young and older adults who have questions
about death, sickness, and eternity.
Author Joyce Williams Graves shares biblical truths using God’s Sacred Word regarding death, sickness, pain, and heaven.
